Its website reports 10 million downloads and 3.0 million active members, its Android app has more than 1 million downloads on Google Play, and its iPhone app has about 149,000 ratings on the US App Store. It is designed with couples in mind: you can share a couple account or link with your partner, chat from one couple account together, and start group chats with your partner and matches. Messaging your matches is free. Privacy features include Incognito mode, hiding your distance and private photos that only matches can see, and verified photos help you check that people look like their pictures. It has native apps for iPhone, iPad and Android.

Where Blend is different

Blend is built only for ethical non-monogamy, so relationship structure sits at the centre of every profile, alongside what you are looking for and your boundaries. Couples and polycules can link partners with consent and create profiles they manage together. One-to-one and group messages are end-to-end encrypted.

Blend also leans into community. There are icebreaker games like Truth or Dare, Two Truths & a Lie, Would You Rather and Question Roulette, the Hot Partner Challenge for linked partners, and ENM events where hosts can run a game on a big screen that guests join with a QR code. Safety tools include date plans with check-ins, emergency contacts, vouches from people you have met and a visible trust score.

Where Blend is newer or smaller

Blend launched in 2026 and is made by a small team in Ottawa, Canada. Its community is a small fraction of the size 3Fun reports, so you will likely see far fewer people wherever you are. On iPhone, Blend is a web app you add to your Home Screen (here is how) rather than an App Store download.

Pricing

Both are free to start. On the US App Store, 3Fun VIP starts from $29.99 a month, with a 3-month option at $39.99, and Priority Messages are sold separately. Blend is free to use, and optional Blend Premium adds incognito mode, advanced filters, priority likes, a monthly boost and rewind.
