Toronto has one of the largest and longest-running poly communities in Canada. Polyamorous Living in Toronto (PLiT) runs peer support and social events for more than 1,200 members, the Toronto Open Relating Community hosts smaller conversation salons, and the kink-friendly Toronto TNG munch meets every month for 18 to 35s.

Polyamorous Living in Toronto (PLiT)
A non-profit, community-run group and a community group of The 519, focused on polyamory, open relationships and "non-oppressive relating": autonomy, questioning relationship hierarchies and egalitarian practices. It has about 1,214 members on Meetup and more than 940 past events.
Current listings include a Polyamorous Peer Support Group (next on October 7), and its outings have included a paddle on the Humber River. The Meetup group is private, and the organizers note that join requests can take a few days to a few weeks.
Toronto Open Relating Community
A loose collection of people in Toronto and the GTA practising creative alternatives to monogamy. Many members are poly or otherwise consensually non-monogamous, and the group also welcomes interest in tantra, kink and sexuality workshops. It is small (about 84 members on Meetup) and conversation-focused.
The next listed event is a Communication Salon on (Dis)Connection on Saturday, October 17, near Christie station.
Toronto: The Next Generation (TNG) munch
A munch is a casual get-together in a bar or restaurant. Toronto TNG's describes itself as "Pansexual, Pankink, Panawesome": a no-pressure social for kinky and kink-curious people, with no formal structure, so you can come and go as you like. It is not poly-specific, but it is a welcoming place to meet open-minded people your age.
It is free, but you are asked to buy at least one item to support the venue, and it is fragrance-free. The group posts all its 2026 dates and the venue in advance.
Older listings we left out
You may see older mentions of a Toronto Ethical Lovers Group at the University of Toronto, and a one-off non-monogamous trivia night at Glad Day Bookshop. We could not find a current public page or a recent date for either, so they are not listed. Toronto also has sex-positive venues and shops that run workshops, but we have kept this list to community groups.
Apps people in Toronto use for ENM dating
Toronto has a big dating market, and ENM folks use many apps. Feeld is popular with singles and couples exploring ENM and kink. #open is built around ethical non-monogamy. OkCupid is a general app where many people are upfront about being non-monogamous. Lots of Torontonians also meet through PLiT and similar groups, where friendships come first.

Tips for meeting people in Toronto
- Request to join PLiT early. Approval can take days or weeks, so send your request well before the event you want to attend.
- Start small if crowds feel like a lot. A salon with a dozen people is a gentler first step than a big social, and you'll have real conversations.
- Know the house rules. The TNG munch is 18 to 35 and fragrance-free, and buying something from the venue keeps these spaces available.
- Lead with curiosity, not a pitch. Ask people about themselves, share your own relationship structure honestly, and take a no gracefully.
- Couples and polycules, meet people as individuals. Nobody wants to feel recruited. Let each connection stand on its own.
